It's already the last week of the transfer and I can't believe it!!! Time is going so so fast!!!!! We have a crazy last week ahead of us in regards to a ton of missionary leadership meetings but I'm super pumped!!!
This past week has been great!!! We're definitely seeing people start to progress which is awesome!!
One of our Investigators is named Carlos and he's only 11 and when we stopped by he'd already read up to pg. 108 in the Book of Mormon in a week!!! WHAT THE?!?!?!?!?! He's the coolest!!! And his dad was cool with letting us teach him!!
It always amazes me how much contact people have had with the church when we talk to them. It ranges from "I've never heard of that church" to "I was baptized a long time ago as a member of that church" and everything inbetween!!! It definitely teaches me the importance of living the standards and setting an example to others!
I've been reading the Book of Mormon and highlighting the Doctrine of Christ (faith, repentance, baptism, recieving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end) in different colors and this week I learned SO much from doing that! Especially while reading Enos!! I've always thought that he was a great example of prayer but he's also all about faith!!! It's the only aspect of the Doctrine of Christ that shows up but it's all over the place!!! So so cool! That really taught me a lot! I have a strong testimony that faith filled prayers are answered!!! I love our Heavenly Father!
I love being a missionary! I love learning Spanish! I love the food they feed us (probs way too much haha)!!! I love California! I love knocking doors even when we're super sweaty! I love love love being a missionary and member of this church!! The Book of Mormon is true! If you know that, you can know it all!!!!
Much love!!
