We started up the BOME again which has been fun!!
MAXIMINO CAME TO CHURCH AGAIN!!!!!!! And it was SUCH a miracle!!! His major obstacle is that his family doesn't approve of him being baptized. We were with him Saturday night and he told us that his family wanted him to go to their church the next morning which meant he wouldn't be able to come to ours. We were SO sad!! But we promised him that he would love church the next day and he said "I don't know what it is but I feel something in my heart *long pause* I'm going to church with you tomorrow!!!" AHHH we started freaking out!! I told him I was going to cry I was so happy and he told me not to haha and then he said "I'm going! Come rain or shine or an earthquake! Nothing is going to stop me from coming to church with you tomorrow!!" AHHH it was so so amazing!! Such a testimony of the power of the Holy Ghost!!! I want him to get baptized so bad before I go home!! Pray for him!!!
Isabel also came to church!!! Another milagro!!!!!!! She's a bap date we've been working with and is SO golden!! She has a ton of obstacles and one of them has been church. She canceled her lesson on Saturday but said "how about I see you girls at church tomorrow" so we were pumped! We asked her what we could do to help her out and she said nothing. Later that night she texted us asking us to call her at 8 to make sure she was awake and ready and when we went to call her at 8 the next morning she had already texted us "see you at 9" ahhhhhh we were so so happy!!! BUT we didn't see her at church and when we called her she wouldn't answer so we were so sad! Then she called us after church and let us know that she had shown up late and a member had taken her to the other ward and her whole family went and stayed for all the classes and everything and she's already committed to coming this week!!! SO SO COOL!!!!!!! Love her!!!
We found a family of 5 and this super awesome woman and passed them off to the English Elders and they're all getting baptized!!! So so cool!!! I love them!!
We were visiting the Vargas family (really sad because the 8 and 9 year olds really want to get baptized but their dad won't let them :(((( pray for them!!!) and we were teaching them about the 10 commandments and the law of the land and Michelle (the 8 year old) said "One time my mom wanted me to j walk across the street and I said no no no I don't wanna go to jail like Tupac" omg we were dying!!!!!!! They are hilarious and so so crazy!!! LOVE them!!!
