We met this awesome guy named Tony! He's 24 and has 2 kids. He was getting out of his car so we stopped to talk to him! Actually, Hna Sanchez said "Hi we're the Sister Missionaries" and I said "Keep going" (as in keep talking to him) but she thought I meant he's sketch get out of here so she took off! haha I chased her down and we went back to teach the poor kid and he wants to be baptized!!! We put him on date and the next day he texted us saying "Hi! It's Tony. IDK if you remember me but I read 3 pages in the Book of Mormon last night". YES WE REMEMBER YOU!!! We were so pumped and we invited him to our ward BBQ and he came and we gave him a church tour and he loved it and we've taught him two more times since then and we just met him on Friday!!! He's the coolest!! He also referred us to his friend so now we're teaching both of them! God really prepares those around us! It's amazing what happens when we just open our mouths!
Crystal is getting baptized this Sunday!!!! She's so excited and so are we! She still has to be interviewed and it's hard for her to remember things sometimes but we're just praying that it goes well!! I love her so much and we're so pumped for her!!!
A Goldmine family we've been visiting since I came her in JULY finally came to church yesterday and it was so exciting!!!! They only came for the first hour but we were so happy to see them and they're planning on coming again next week!!! We "fall attacked" them on Saturday and they caught us as we were running away so they took us out to lunch and Hno said he was feeling as if he needed to go to church the next day! It was awesome!
We OYM'd to a group of teenage boys (scary to most missionaries but not to us!) and they were so cool! They loved our message and all accepted a baptismal date! It was so cool!!!!
Overall I just love being a missionary so much!!! God is good!! Life is good!
