Hermana Giles is leaving so I'm REALLY sad about that BUT she got called as STL too so I'll see her at meetings a lot!!! Love her!!! Soooo proud of her!!!
Crazy things also happened with my roomies this past week....Hna Hoopes got a concussion during zone activity 2 weeks ago and didn't go into the doctor until a week later because she kept saying she was fine but then it got to bad. We found out it was really serious and she was put on bed rest for 5 days. The 3 of us took turns spending the morning or night with her. It was so fun!!!! But on Friday night she found out that she had to go home until she was healed. She went home yesterday afternoon and I cried :( I love her so much and miss her lots!!! But she'll be back in no time! She's way too stubborn to stay home!!
ALSO I only have 6 weeks left in my mission and it's making me sooo sad!!! More tears! But it'll be ok. God has a plan for me!!!!
This week we have seen SO much progress with so many of our Investigators that have been investigating for forever!!!! Can't wait to get them all baptized this transfer!!!
Angelica prayed in front of us for the first time ever and it was amazing!!!! She cried a lot! I love her!!!
We had a real talk with Maximino about baptism and he wants to get baptized in our church even though his nephews that he's living with don't want him to! His biggest obstacle has been going to church and he's going to call his sister and tell her that he can only visit every other weekend!!! We role played the phone call! lol He wanted to say it just right!
We taught Francisco the Law of Chastity and it turns out it's not a problem!!!! He also came to church for the 4th time and loved it!!
We had a special conference for all the stakes in this region and Elder Christofferson spoke! (it was a broadcast) and it was great! Hna Giles and I didn't realize that though so we showed up and saw about 50 missionaries and thought what the freak!?!?!? It was hilarious because Hna Giles wore a "scandalous" dress (in mission terms haha) and was mortified that so many Elders saw it! I was dying!!
Last Sunday I wore a dress that my mom called my "weight dress" because if it doesn't fit it means I've gained to much weight. lol Well I decided to wear it to church last Sunday and I got it on so I was pretty proud of myself! Then we were sitting in gospel principles and sneezed and the whole zipper up my back split open!! WHOOPS!!!! Hna Giles and I couldn't stop laughing!!!!! Luckily I had a jacket on so you couldn't tell! But it was soooooo funny!!!
On exchanges, Hna Giles ran into an Investigator we had passed off to the English YSA and he was soooo happy to see her!!! He told her that he's getting baptized and that he even gave his heroine needle to the Elders after he was taught the Word of Wisdom! CRAZY!!!!! I love teaching punks!!! They're the craziest and seeing them changes their lives around completely is so incredible!!!! Can't wait for his baptism on March 3rd!!!
While at home Hna Hoopes taught me a song and we've been singing it nonstop and I keep performing it for all these missionaries and it's hilarious!!!
God is soooo good!!! Can't wait to see what these last 6 weeks have in store for me!!!

Johnathen Barker!!!! lolololol He's a less active member in Encino that we think is the coolest and we convinced Sis Smullin that she needed to say goodbye to him (really it was for our benefit) and we went over there and I wanted a pic with him but I chickened out and didn't ask him even though Sis Smullin took one and we got in the car and we were all yelling and we told her to call him but she wouldn't and I said find I'll just go back and knock on his door AND I DID!!!!! I asked if Hna giles and I could take a pic too and he was so normal about it and didn't even think it was weird!!! haha and THEN he texted an hour later saying we had to send him the pics if possible!!!! We printed them out today to give to the Elders to give to him!!! hahahahah
