This week was good! I don't remember too much because we have been SO INSANELY BUSY!!!! Lots and lots of teaching!!! Super awesome but also exhausting!!!
- On Saturday we taught about the Plan of Salvation, Gospel of Jesus Christ, Word of Wisdom, Law of Chastity, and Tithing all to different people! It was a crazy day!! Super awesome and everyone took everything like champs! We were so tired by the end of the day!!
- We filled a ton of Easter eggs with candy and gave them to some of the people we work with which was super fun!! A lot of them had never even heard of the Easter Bunny (apparently it's super white) so it was super funny explaining it to them and seeing their reactions!
- Spanish is so funny. As we continue to learn we continue to notice all these funny sayings they have. For instance, instead of saying "every week" or "once a week" they say "every 8 days" Why is it every 8 days when there's only 7 in a week?!?!? One family tried explaining it to us and it was so funny. They kill me!
- We hit 7 months!! Pretty crazy!! And our next month mark will be on Mother's day and we'll get to skype our families!!! SO PUMPED!!!!
- Yesterday we visited a ton of families for Easter and were fed SO MUCH!!!! Basically 3 full meals back to back and got even more offers to eat than that! We felt super gordita by the end of it haha!
- We had 6 people come to church yesterday which was awesome!!! A little overwhelming because we couldn't focus enough attention on some people as we would like but it was still great!!
- One night we were driving by one of our Recent Converts/Less Actives house and we caught him drinking a beer! AH! So Hermana McGlinchy stopped the car I hopped out and poured the rest of it out. Crazy!!
- My arthritis is back in business so that's a party but we're doing our best to get a handle on it! I found this verse in the Book of Mormon the other day and all I can say is that I must be pretty spiritual...."I have workings in the spirit, which doth weary me even that all my joints are weak" (1 Nephi 19:20).
- During our Law of Chastity lesson with our Investigator Jimmy, his uncle gave a freaking bomb testimony of the ley de castidad and basically called out Jimmy's dad and it was so legit!!! Slowly but surely the family is changing for the better!! We were SO proud of Ariel! He killed it!!
