- ANGELES WAS BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! She is the cutest thing ever!!! I love her sooo much!!! She was so happy to be there!!! The spirit was super strong!! Lots of tears!!! In my mission, while the people are changing after the baptism, us missionary do something to fill the time and help invite the spirit, we call it a "missionary minute". This time it was Hermana McGlinchy, Elder Jager, Elder Brown, and I and we sang Joseph Smith's first prayer and paused in the middle to recite the first vision. That was my job and I couldn't make it through without crying. The Spirit definitely confirmed to me the truthfulness of the message of the Restoration that we share. So so so grateful for that!!
- Bad news happened on Sunday though.......we always have to find Angeles and her family a ride to church because they don't have a car and we finally did and we even saw the Hermana driving there but SHE COULDN'T FIND THE HOUSE AND DOESN'T HAVE A CELLPHONE SO SHE DIDN'T TAKE ANGELES TO CHURCH AND SHE DIDN'T GET CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! We felt sooo defeated during church. It was so sad!!! But there's always next Sunday. It'll be ok!
- Raul Morales (the ex-gangster) finally became and Investigator!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAYY!!!!!! I love him so so much!!!! As we were teaching him he paused me and said, "You're glowing. Why are you glowing?" The church is true people!!! We testified of the spirit and he said he'd be baptized!!!! LOVE HIM!!!! Super pumped but his wife is going to be an obstacle so please pray that little Maria will be ok with all of this!!! She's been through it all with him and he wants her to be with him through this as well!!! Lots of prayers heading their way!!!!
- Our Investigator Antonio opened up last week about being afraid of being baptized again and feeling like he was playing with God if he did. This week we read 3 Nephi 11 (when Christ comes to the America's after his resurrection) together with a bomb member present and it was amazing!!! By the end of it he said that all of his doubts were gone and he was completely committed to being baptized by the priesthood power!! WHOOO!!!! It was such an incredible experience to see how the Book of Mormon really can answer every doubt. I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!!
- Jimmy Mendoza passed his baptismal interview and is getting baptized this weekend!!! AHHHHHHH!!! He was in the room for almost an hour and we were pretty worried but he came out with a huge smile and when we asked him how he felt he said "Really excited for my baptism" That makes 3 of us!!!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!
- Martin Ledezma could potentially be getting baptized this weekend too depending on his marriage license!!! We are praying like nobody's business that it all works out!!!
- This is the last week of the transfer so we'll see what happens. I LOVE this ward and really don't want to go!!! I also love my comp and will miss her sooo much if we get split up but whatever happens happens and it'll be exactly what God wants. We also hit 8 months yesterday!!! Whoop whoop!!!
The church is true peeps!!! The Book of Mormon is true!!! Families are forever!!!! LOVE YOU!!!

One day we stopped by Alma's and she was wearing a wonsy (spelling?!?!?) and we told her we liked it, not thinking anything of it, and she texted us a few days later saying ours had arrived! lolol she's the best!!!
