Overall it's been a really happy and productive week!!!! Lots and lots of hard work has definitely paid off!!!
Raul's baptism was just so happy!!!!! I love that man so much!!! We all cried the whole time! haha And it was so good to see a lot of my San Fernando friends again! Raul was so happy the whole time and the spirit was so strong! Talk about a changed man!!! I LOVE JESUS CHRIST!!!!! The atonement is real!!! USE IT!!
We have really been pushing to OYM to everyone and to go out of our way to do it!! Whether that means talking to people in the pool, across the street, on a balcony on the third floor, while they're in their cars on their phones, it doesn't matter!!! We talk to everyone we see and we are finding like crazy!! I love love love it!!!
We went on exchanges this past week and it reminded me what it means to be a leader. It was a really humbling and uplifting reminder. I'm really grateful that Heavenly Father trusts my companion and I enough so that we can help our zone (especially the Hermanas).
The bike/car incident....At the beginning of the week we were just biking along (aka Hna Sleight was way in front and I was peddling as fast as possible to try to catch up) and then out of no where someone opened their driver side door as I was biking past in the bike lane and let's just say we smacked into each other, I was thrown to the ground, traffic stopped but I got up, checked myself, and got on my bike and peddled away as fast as possible!!! haha Walked away without a scratch!!! Just a knee that really hurts but don't worry mom, they're taking good care of me :) ALSO!! The keys fell out of my bag when I went down and it took us almost an hour to notice and when we went back they were still there!!! MILAGRO!!
I love being a missionary! The church is true!!! So many miracles happen everyday if we just look for them and are willing to act!!! SHARE THE GOSPEL!!! READ THE BOOK OF MORMON!!! That will answer everything!!!

The Great San Fernando Zone!!!
SO HAPPY!!!
This family met Raul my last Sunday in San Fernando. They were just visiting the valley and went to the English ward at the same building. They started talking in the foyer and the Mom and Raul bonded over their pasts and then THEY DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM IDAHO TO COME TO HIS BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!! And the 3 kids sang a hymn and harmonized LIKE ANGELS!!!!! It was soooo beautiful!!!! The church is so true it's insane!
lol ISAAC!!!! He's started reading the Book of Mormon in Chinese. He's the coolest!!
