Things are crazy here in Van Nuys!! We're doing our best to get this area moving!!!! Clearly finding is a strength of ours! Now we just have to help these people start progressing some more!! We are SO busy and there is always something to do! I LOVE IT!!
We are letting the elect elect themselves!
Since zone conference, the number of New Investigators found as a mission has increased by 52% IN ONE WEEK!!!! We are being blessed!!!
I have such a huge testimony of just opening your mouth and talking to these people!!! We are surrounded by people everywhere!!! Our brothers and sisters!! Just start talking to them and teaching from the start!! God already gave us the permission to do so!! So go and do!! (I sound like President Henrie and I love that)
Elda came to church with us this past week and she walked there even though her sister surprised her with a visit!!! That's huge!!! We were so happy!!!
Gloria came to church too and we were so pumped!!!
Ana's getting baptized this Saturday in my old area and I'm soooo excited!!!! It's been over a year of waiting and here she is!!!
This week we were walking down a major street during KO and this car pulled over all of the sudden and started honking at us. Turns out he's a less active and his gf wants to start meeting with the missionaries and be baptized!!! WHAT THE!?!??!!? MILAGRO!!!! They live in LA so we sent them in as a referral but it was still super cool!!
I got to go on exchanges in YSA and it was so fun!!! And we even walked one of their investigators to the liquor store as we taught them about the importance of church and how it's a commandment of God! lol
We met the homeless woman (actually a man but wears a wig) this week that lives nearby because she sprinted across the street (that has 8 lanes of traffic) to come tell us that she knew that we were Mormons and that there was something special about us! Turns out her first love was a Mormon boy and they use to go to church together! Craziness!!! She's really nice haha
I love the Lord! I love the mission! I love California and the crazy heat!!! I love love love these people and it's all going by way too fast!!! Definitely doing my best to soak up every moment possible!!!

Jafet spent all day making us dinner and it was so bomb!!!! We kinda felt like we were on a polygamous date (he's 19 too) but it was still super fun!! haha
